This image of an ancient ship with oars is carved deep within the sandstone walls of Jonathan's Cave near East Wemyss on the coast of Fife, Scotland. Possibly Pictish, possibly Viking, it is thought to be the earliest depiction of a ship in Scotland and forms the logo of Save Wemyss Ancient Caves Society (SWACS). Artwork by Marianna Lines.
